J. Angelo began his distinguished military career by joining the United States Marine Corps. He was honorably discharged as a Gunnery Sergeant (GySgt E-7), a rank that reflects his exceptional service and leadership. Among his many roles, his most cherished position was that of a Marine Corps Drill Instructor at Parris Island, SC, with the 3rd Battalion, India Company. In this capacity, he molded and mentored future Marines, instilling in them the core values of honor, courage, and commitment.

Transitioning into civilian life, J. Angelo excelled in numerous leadership roles, demonstrating the same unwavering work ethic that defined his military service. His journey then led him back to active duty with the United States Army, where he served with the prestigious 173rd Airborne Brigade out of Bamberg, Germany. His service included a deployment to the Logar Province in Afghanistan, where he continued to exhibit bravery and leadership under challenging conditions.

After his military career, J. Angelo settled in Phoenix, AZ, where he embarked on a new path of self-discovery and creativity.
